Lawmakers in Russia’s Kemerovo region may ban the sale of nasvai, a mixture of tobacco, slaked lime and chicken dung used for chewing and popular in Central
Asia and Afghanistan, RIA Novosti reported.
The regional legislature passed a bill that would ban the chewing tobacco mixture in a first reading today, the state-run news service said.
Nasvai produces a mild narcotic intoxication in the user,RIA reported.
